BEYONCE’s first post-baby appearance!

Beyonce post-baby

The first official Beyonce post-baby sighting was at hubby Jay Z’s benefit concert at Carnegie Hall.  She looked amazing (as if we doubted she would) in a red Alice Temperly dress with Christian Louboutin pumps and a gold Alexander McQueen clutch. It’s only been a month since Bey gave birth to daughter Blue Ivy Carter- and she is back looking great.  If this doesn’t inspire us to stick to our New Year’s resolution to “eat healthy and work out” then what will? The best part of the evening was Jay Z’s performance of “Glory” the song he dedicated to Blue Ivy.  Afterwards he admitted “I didn’t think I was going to  make it through that one. That was tough.”  Awwww…..We love Bey, Jay and those pumps!

Courtney Gula

Courtney:  I am ready to start shopping for Spring! Here are some key trends you should be on the lookout for: Stripes- Stripes are still very in this season.  Mix and match like Michael Kors did in his Spring 2012 Collection.

MICHEAL KORS-SPRING 2012

I also love the Paisley trend.  This is the new trend for spring whether its tops, pants, dresses or accessories.  Have fun and make a statement in paisely!

JILL SANDERS-SPRING 2012

Another must have is Pastels! This soft look in many different shades can be seen on the runways including this jacket by Coco Chanel.

CHANEL – SPRING 2012

And the bright hues to look out for this Spring are Orange, Blue and Green!  Try mixing these bright colors together.  These strong shades are another trend this season and will be seen everywhere!

KENZO- SPRING 2012

And last but not least…Tribal prints!  Keep it tribal with vibrant tribal patterns. Have fun mixing and matching these prints together!

BURBERRY- SPRING 2012

The Power of the PUMP

The word PUMP means so many different things to so many different people.  Studies have proven that men reference a device or the actual act of pumping something vs. women who reference a high heel.  To me, the word PUMP means power.  I feel powerful in a pair of pumps; like I can conquer anything.  PINK PUMP is committed to making 2012 our best year ever; and we invite you to do the same.  Check back for guest bloggers, fashion tips, random thoughts and more…our blog has officially launched.
